From Sketch to 3D: How AI Helped Me Design This Cross Necklace

You ever have an idea in your head and wonder, how do I even bring this to life? What do I even start with? That was me with this cross necklace design.

This wasn’t just any cross—I wanted it to feel bold, futuristic, and timeless while still honoring my family’s jewelry-making legacy.

Here’s how I made it happen:

💡 Step 1: Sketching & Concepting – I started with rough sketches, pulling inspiration from classic hand-engraved crosses and modern silhouettes.
🎨 Step 2: AI-Assisted Refinement – I used AI tools to help me test different engravings, structures, and proportions. ( I don't want AI to replace me, instead, I used it to make the creation process smoother...)
🖥 Step 3: 3D Modeling in Blender – Once I had the perfect base, I sculpted it in Blender, refining every detail before rendering it.
🔥 Step 4: Rendering & Animation – I created a 700-frame animation showing a vault door opening, revealing the cross in all its glory.
