Breaking the Ice

Hey :) I'm Isabel Catherine, Owner, Creator, and Lead Designer here at Icy Bitch. 

My passion for jewelry is a family legacy. As a 3rd generation jeweler raised by a master craftsman and diamond setter, I’ve spent my life surrounded by the artistry of jewelry design and diamond setting. But I wanted to take that tradition into a new dimension.

I created this brand in 2020 during my college years at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan while double majoring in design and advertising. I used my initials "ICY" and my Leo attitude to start this brand and bring a new edge to jewelry design. I believe that we all have many passions and talents in life, and you don't have to choose just one.  So with that in mind, I COULDNT HELP MYSELF but to combine my heritage with my design, tech, and 3D skills to launch my own brand.

I started designing in my parents' kitchen and I feel truly honored to say that we have now worked with over 10k+ icy gals to help them feel like the boldest, iciest versions of themselves.

While I’m building this brand, I also spend my days as a high-end XR and 3D designer for the world’s largest companies - creating global ad campaigns for META, Nike, Sephora, Ulta, Target, Amazon, Google, Coachella, and many more! If you're interested in seeing my professional brand work you can head on over to Iceverse Studios to check it out!

Whether I’m animating a digital world for a brand or hand-designing a physical piece of jewelry for you, my mission is the same: to use my eye for design to make you and the world a prettier and "icier" place. (P.S.) I started all of this from scratch, even when some of my closest friends and teachers laughed at my ideas. Looking back, I realize that when you have a vision, most people won’t see it at first—and that’s okay. That vision is yours alone to build. PURSUE THAT DREAM, EXPLORE THAT IDEA, AND DON'T EVER HOLD BACK! It will be the best thing you ever do for yourself. Think of it like this: even if you have tried and "failed" 1,000 times, it's just 1,000 more ways you have learned how to pivot, how to grow, and exactly what it takes to finally succeed. I believe in you, I'm rooting for you, and whatever you do, don't give up.
